"Here's an update with the plastering and undercoating going well so far. The plastering should now be completed throughout the Project next week and then the trades will be back in to carry out second fix on the carpentry, plumbing and electrical work.

Still so much to do but I'm sure our supporters will agree that progress is being made. This project, when completed, will be a vital asset for our charity and for the veterans we will be helping. Thank you." ~ David

"I would like to put a huge shout out to the team of volunteers that turned up in this heat today to help get 2 Tonne of building materials into our Veterans Build Project. Thankyou to Lisa, Mark, Mark, Mark, Lenny and Matt for all your help as we move forward. We can't do what we do without you all." ~ David

"After another extremely busy day for Helping Homeless Veterans UK, we are proud to be able to bring you the latest video update from The Veterans Build Project where we are converting an empty property into six individual flatlets for our country's homeless veterans.

Don't forget that we are only just over two years old and not only do we have our Build Project but we also have our Garrison Project. But more importantly we have also assisted 185 Veterans who have reached out to us. These numbers are not made up as all of our Trustees monitor what we are doing on a weekly basis. All of this has been carried out with the utmost transparency."

Tuesday 26th October 2021:

These are only short videos to give the public some idea of the scale of this project and over the last two days over 3.5 tons of plasterboard and rubbish have been removed from the property with it all being carried down 3 flights of external stairs which is back breaking. This work has been carried out by 3 trustees and two volunteers who have worked extremely hard. If your looking for a charity to support that is run solely by volunteers who are making a huge difference to the Veterans Community then please support us here

Update Video - Tuesday 19th October 2021:
