Toby & Steve's 4x4x48 Running Challenge

The-Goggins-4x4x48-Challenge-History-Strategy-Tips-Training.jpg

"We have set this audacious challenge to run 4 miles, every 4 hours, for 48 miles spanning over just shy of 48 hours in support of HHVUK. David Goggins, ex-Navy Seal and all round bad ass designed it to test individuals mental and physical endurance, having to run through day and night with a broken sleep pattern."

'Dave's 96-mile West Highland Way Walk'

New Picture.jpg

"My name is Dave Watts and I am 51 years old and a Project Manager working on NHS Mental Health Sites. I am an Armed Forces Veteran and I served in the Queens Regiment. I am looking at completing The West Highland way which is 96 miles walking and wild camping in April and if time permits I will finish on the summit of Ben Nevis.

This is no easy challenge but I am determined to help my fellow Veterans and this is why I have chosen to support Helping Homeless Veterans UK who carry out outstanding work in The Veterans Community and is solely ran by Volunteers who are passionate about the work they carry out as well as the people that they help. 100% of your donation will be spent on helping those Veterans who reach out to the charity and ask for help. Nobody gets paid a penny from the CEO to the Volunteers. Please sponsor me here. Thank you."

'The 5-Points Challenge'

Pen Y Fan Bathtub Challenge

HHVUK David's Bathtub Challenge Poster - v1.png

"Whenever Helping Homeless Veterans UK houses a veteran, the first thing they always say to us is how nice it is to have their own bath where they can relax and be clean. One of the small things that most people would take for granted but is such a pleasure for a veteran who has been homeless.

So I will be ascending and descending Pen y Fan on The Brecon Beacons in South Wales with a bathtub on my back. It will be carried up using straps like a rucksack but this will be made all the harder due to the shape and the size of the bathtub.

Our voluntary work is always needing funds and donations to help us house and support as many veterans that we can and we believe that everyone should have a place that they can call home.

I have not seen this challenge being carried out by anyone else and I know that with the public's support I will complete this challenge. Thank you." ~ David
