Veterans Foundation Grant for The Talbot Mews
(28Jan'23) We would like to thank the trustees of the Veterans' Foundation for awarding our charity a grant of £10,000 so we can fully furnish The Talbot Mews. With this grant, we can now complete the project ready for our VIP Opening on March 25th. Thank you to all of our supporters for your continued backing.
The Prime Minister's 'Points of Light' Award
(25Jan'23) Today, one of our Founders David Wood and his fellow trustees had the pleasure of meeting the Rt Hon Conor Burns MP at The Talbot Mews where David was presented with The Points of Light Award from the previous Prime Minister the Rt Hon Boris Johnson MP.
This is the first time where our diaries haven't clashed and Mr Burns was simply overwhelmed at the work we carry out as volunteers as well as The Talbot Mews and he thanked us all for our hard work. It's certainly nice to feel appreciated 😊
We are proud to announce that we have been chosen as a supported charity by The Co-op Group again.
Helping Homeless Veterans UK is part of the Co-op UK Local Community Fund. To find out more about our project, and to choose us as your chosen charity, then click on this link: https://membership.coop.co.uk/causes/65662
Last time we were chosen by The Co-op, we raised over £6,000. Let's smash this target. Thank you.

About Us
Helping Homeless Veterans UK started as a Community Interest Company (CIC) in September 2019. Less than two years later, we became a registered charity with the Charities Commission (number 1195521).
With many years of experience of engaging with Local Authorities using legislation to help house our homeless veterans, there was a definite need for our organisation which has been a welcome addition to the Veterans Community.
We are a Charity that relies solely on donations from the general public as well as grants from companies and organisations which allow us to provide the complete package for those that need our assistance.
100% of all public donations are spent on helping our veterans and none of our team are salaried. We have a team of trustees, ambassadors and volunteers who dedicate their free time to helping our country's homeless veterans.
